He finally does see Jesus again, but never in his wildest dreams could he have imagined what happens.
Gavin is the self-proclaimed ‘best gardener you’ll find in all of Jerusalem’. He knows how to use a spade! He’s also an observer as people don’t tend to notice him, until Jesus does. How would you like to be labelled as a doubter, and be famous for one stuff-up? How would you like that blunder recorded in history for the whole world to read, study, analyse and dissect for thousands of years? In this production ‘Doubting Thomas’ finally has a chance to set the record straight. We discover that his life and his time with Jesus were so much more than one rather unflattering episode. We follow his story from a lunch break in Galilee, when Jesus first calls him, to THE chapter he is so notorious for. It’s what happens after that really brings his tale to its life changing conclusion.
